The Power Console PF60 delivers the ultimate power conditioning for serious audiophiles and home theater enthusiasts. With 13 programmable outlets and Phase 6 Pure Filter Circuitry, the PF60 offers six isolated filters to provide clean and clear power to all of your valuable components. The LCD status display allows users to monitor input voltage and output current on each individual bank of outlets. Each PureAV Power Console is loaded with innovative features, such as Multiphase Pure Filter Circuitry, designed to remove electrical noise. Our advanced design isolates audio, video, and digital components, and prevents noise created by one connected component from contaminating the entire system. Built-in Advanced Overvoltage Protection automatically disconnects power from your equipment when the input voltage reaches a dangerous level, and restores power automatically when the voltage returns to a safe level.

Outstanding value, great level of protection, but some quirks and missing parts

I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to adequately protect my home A/V configuration, but I'm glad that I finally found the Belkin PF60 to do the job. One rule of thumb I've seen is to invest roughly 20% of your total equipment value in power protection. That may be a good marketing ploy for high-end equipment vendors, but I honestly can't see why I would ever need more protection than what the Belkin PureAV PF60 offers. Belkin offers a $500,000 connected equipment warranty for the lifetime of the product to the original purchaser.There is a lot to like about this unit:- Level 4 surge protection with automatic over-voltage cutoff (7116 Joules - 369,000 Amp max spike current)- Belkin Phase 6 electrical noise filter- 13 power outlets, configured in 6 banks of 2 (rear) and one in the front (behind a protected door) including one bank for high-current devices (Amplifiers, Receivers)- each of the 6 banks are electrically isolated, minimizing interference between components- each of the 6 banks can be configured for always-on, switched, or switched with delay- switched outlets can be controlled from the front of the unit, or by a remote trigger (12V DC in)- front LCD status display shows line voltage and current (Amp) usage for the entire unit, or for each of the 6 banks- 12v DC remote trigger output for additional components- extremely heavy duty (10AWG) 10-foot power cable, with right-angle plug- nice form factor, size, and styling fit well in my home theater configurationWhat's missing? Unfortunately, a few key items that the Belkin PDF manual (on their support site) would indicate are included:- no Ethernet or phone jack protection- no AC power cord for remote trigger (luckily, there is a standard 1/8" mini 12V DC port)- no mounting hardware for rack mountThere are also a few annoying things:- there is no option to completely turn off the LCD backlight, although the dimmest level isn't too distracting- after a complete power failure, the PF60 doesn't remember its settings. Since I use the remote 12V trigger for switched outlets, after a power failure, I have to manually hit the "Remote" button on the front of the unit. And, I have to reset the LCD backlight down from its brightest default.But, in all, considering the performance and other features, at this price point, it's hard not to like the PureAV PF60. In my configuration, I did notice a slight improvement in video quality, especially with analog inputs. And that is saying something, as I don't generally believe in cable "voodoo". And that alone is worth the investment, beyond the essential component protection.

Impressive Unit

The Belkin PF60's performance is top-notch, as detailed by some of the other reviews. It's looks/build are impressive, just what you would expect at this price point. What I would have liked to have known before purchasing was what some other people were running through theirs. I'm running a 50" Pioneer Kuro, Yamaha VX-565 receiver (w/Monitor Audio Silver RS6 towers), PS3, XBOX360, and Polk PSW125 powered subwoofer. I put it to the test right away, turning on every component and playing some more demanding CD's through my A/V receiver, with the PS3's background visualizer playing on the plasma. The Belkin PF60 didn't bat an eye, and kept consistent power to everything.There hasn't been a difference in the "claimed" video shielding effects, but I am using heavily shielded HDMI cables, and the Kuro has fairly advanced noise cancellation circuitry built in. The mids/highs remained approximately the same on my towers, no discernible difference to my ears. The subwoofer, however, has never sounded better. I am not a fan of my Polk sub, but the consistent and clean power the Belkin delivers to it has certainly extended its life as part of my system.I have no reason not to believe that this units surge protector isn't top-notch, and honestly I hope I don't have to put it to the test. But, Belkin's outstanding warranty protection is more than enough extra guarantee for all but the most expensive audiophile systems.Overall: Completely satisfied with the Belkin PF60 and this seller's fast, quality service.

Avoid Belkin

Review Update. Belkin SUCKS! They have truly let me down with the horrible customer service. During Hurricane Sandy in NY my home was hit with a power surge. The night of the storm numerous power lines in my neighborhood were knock down and several blocks were without power, My building did not suffer an outages, but during the storm the lights went out then quickly returned causing a electrical power surge damaging my TV. All other electrical products were fine except my TV. I filed a claimed on line which was pretty easy and paid for return shipping to Belkin. Within a two week I received a letter stating that my unit was fine and that they well not honor any claim for damage. I tried to appeal my case by calling the phone number on letter, but that number was disconnected WTF! All the money this company makes and they can't put a working number on their stationary. What makes it worse is they keep the unit which they claim still works, but never returned it to me. Now I'm out a TV and a Surge protector. I would AVOID BELKIN if I were you.
